This blog exists to help me document and describe my birding and natural history experiences in Canada throughout the year of 2012 [and January and February 2013 in the states]. 2012 will see me on teaching exchange to Nakusp, in beautiful British Columbia. I'm hoping to see many great new birds and animals as well as showing my family some great scenery.
You may be wondering why I mentioned birds twice - I like them.
dearest kenny i,m so envious!!!!!!l,m loving your scenery shots, and your great writing skills, especially the poetry!!!!!what a beautiful place you are in.... sooooo much snow..yum.. missing not being on this journey with you......stay well, family will be there soon, love maria...ps birds and wildlife look magnificent in the snow..
Hey Maria, Thanks for the note and encouragement. Yes my poetry? I'm not a poet [but at least i know it]. Just 23 days until the family arrive [but who's counting?] Still time to visit sept / oct we have no one coming - fall birding is still quite good apparently, salmon are running, there'd be snow up in them thar hills etc and we have room [of sorts] downstairs. Worth considering............ Ken
